Spark creativity and bring imagination to life. Hosted by LuminoCity in collaboration with the Long Island Children's Museum (LICM), this hands-on, educator-led workshop invites children ages 4 to 15 to explore the rich history and artistry of Chinese lantern making. Participants will learn traditional techniques while designing their own unique 2-D compositions inspired by the theme “Fantasy Winter Fairyland.”
As part of this special initiative, selected artworks will be transformed into stunning 3-D light sculptures and showcased at the 2025 LuminoCity Festival, giving young artists the extraordinary opportunity to see their creativity illuminated on a grand scale.
